G. D. Hollicker was a life long Glendive merchant. He started out about the turn of the 20th Century as a live stock dealer. See the 1900 R. L. Polk Gazetteer. His Business Directory listings then shifted to General Store & Live Stock Dealer (1904) and then just General Store (1908) and finally in the mid-1920's (see the 1925 Dun) Department Store. Listings continued on into the early 1930's.
