The Simek Brothers started out by running a Restaurant in Billings in the late 1920's. See, for example, their listing in the 1927 Montana Bradstreet. After the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, they ran the Brunswick Bar, which was listed in Montana Directories as a Saloon. They continued to run the Bar/ Saloon into the late 1940's. See their listing in the 1947 Montana Dun & Bradstreet.
