Samuel L. Schwab & Edward Zimmerman are listed as Helena Hotel Proprietors back in Territorial Days. See their listing in the Helena City Directory beginning in 1879, then the Bradstreets in 1882 and 1886. This token is most probably Territorial. Many have cited the 1900 Polk listing for the Cosmopolitan Hotel in regard to this token, but in 1900 the Proprietors of the Cosmopolitan Hotel were Burgard & Simon and not Schwab & Zimerman.
