John B. Murphy is listed in Montana Business Directories as the Proprietor of a Confectionery and Cigar Store in Kalispell from about 1900 to 1908. His store was located at 19 West 2nd and you can find Business Directory listings for him in the 1900 R. L. PolkGazetteer, the 1906 MN-DAKS-MT Gazetteer and 1908 Pacific Coast Agency Gazetteer.
