Cufflinks: Vintage Bus Token - Conestoga Transportation Co. / Good For One Fare
Here is a Pair of Custom Cufflinks - that were made by Mountain Shadow Design Studio using Conestoga Transportation Co. Bus Tokens Originally Issued in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1940 - about 73 years ago.
These Conestoga tokens are White Metal and are 16.5MM or a bit over 5/8 of an inch in diameter. The entire cufflink is about 20MM or 13/16" tall when closed on your cuff.

These Conestoga tokens are COPPER PLATED White Metal. Some of the copperplate has worn off, but what remains provides a unique look.The accompanying pictures were, in fact, token in various shades of natural light to bring out and convey this unique look.

Buttons: Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Parlor Buttons - Four For $7.95
This Is A Set Four Buttons Fashioned From Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Parlor Tokens.
The tokens have been through a press that domes them and then reverses the dome around the edge of the token so that there is a flat perimeter...for ease of use.
The buttons are brass and are 25mm or about 1" in diameter....just a tad larger than a quarter. They read - Where A Kid Can Be A Kid With A Picture of the Chuck E Cheese Mouse on both sides.

Here is a pair of Custom Made School Bus Token Cufflinks -
With Dazzling Ruby Red Czech Glass Inserts
This pair of cufflinks was made in my wife's Jewelry Design Studio from School Ticket tokens issued in midst of World War 11 by the Louisville Railway of Louisville, Kentucky.
The tokens have been cleaned and polished and look a lot like pewter...but they are actually zinc. During World War 11 there was very little brass available for bus tokens.

Here is a Pair of Custom Cufflinks - that were made by Mountain Shadow Design Studio using Newburg Bus Line Bus Tokens Originally Issued in Beuchel / Louisville, Kentucky in the 1930's or 1940's.
These Bus tokens are Brass and are 20MM or about 13/16 of an inch in diameter. The entire cufflink is about 18MM or 11/16" tall when closed on your cuff.
The combination of the old bus tokens and an antiqued brass base goes very well together.
