Unlisted town & token. Rare item...great name...G. Northern (Saloon) ....maybe one of a kind.

Hayden was a tiny sawmill settlement and stop on the Great Northern Rail Road just after the turn of the 20th Century. Hayden was in Flathead County, 65 miles N. of Whitefish. The Hayden Post Office was discontinued just after 1900 and Hayden residents got their mail in Rexford, about 8 miles down the rails. Hayden businesses were listed under Rexford in Directories of the day. See the scan provided below from the 1906 R. L. Polk Gazetteer. This token dates to about 1904 and the original collector believed that it was a one of a kind.
