This token is not listed in Montana Token Literature. It is well documented however and attribution is certain.

M. Alfred Heimer was the Proprietor of the Manhattan Saloon in Billings, Montana from the early teens to the arrival of Prohibition in Montana in 1919. (The State of Montana voted to go dry in 1916 and the law took effect in January of 1919.)

Heimer's Saloon was located at 2401 Montana Avenue and he has Business Directory listing, for example, in the 1912 R. G. Dun, the 1914, 1918 and 1919 Bradstreets and the 1916 R. L. Polk Gazetteer. A copy of his 1916 listing is provided below.
