This rare token comes from the Bar of the Grand Central Hotel in Helena, Montana. It is a BBC10a and was probably issued back in the late 1880's. So it is a Montana Territorial piece.

I find the Grand Central Hotel & Bar listed in Helena City Directories starting in the 1880's and then continuing on to about 1908. See for example, the Classified Saloon List of the Polk 1888 Helena City Directory. The Proprietor of the Grand Central in 1891 was H. L. Jennison.
