Note; A Mathwig & Reardon token is listed for Joliet in the Montana Token Book...but it is not this one. This one is unlisted and was previously unreported.

Edward M. Mathwig and Edward J. Reardon ran a Saloon in Joliet, Montana back in the teens and you can find Business Directory listins for them in the 1914 Montana Bradstreet, the 1916 MN-DAKS-MT Polk Gazetteer and the 1919 Bradstreet. With the arrival of Prohibition in 1919 Mathwig & Reardon went out of business.
